The Lapierre Pulsium 7.0 C2 is an endurance road bike designed to combine the low weight and responsive feel of carbon with the comfort and versatility needed for longer rides. Rather than focusing purely on racing, the Pulsium is intended to cover everything from everyday road riding and sportives to longer-distance adventures and bikepacking.
Its carbon frame is paired with a Lapierre UD SL carbon fork, helping keep weight down while providing precise handling. The endurance-focused design prioritises comfort for longer days in the saddle, making the Pulsium a good option if outright race-focused positioning isn't your priority.
Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8100 provides electronic 2x12-speed shifting. The R8150 front and rear derailleurs work with Ultegra ST-R8170 shift/brake levers for fast, consistent gear changes, while the two-chainring setup gives you a broad spread of ratios for tackling climbs, rolling roads and faster sections.
Braking is handled by Shimano Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors front and rear. Hydraulic operation provides predictable braking and good modulation, helping you control speed confidently on longer descents and in changing weather conditions.
DT Swiss ER1600 Spline wheels are designed with endurance road riding in mind and feature 30mm-deep rims. They're also tubeless compatible, giving you the option to move to a tubeless setup for improved puncture protection and the ability to run lower pressures.
Schwalbe One Performance tyres come in a 32mm width, providing more volume than traditional narrow road tyres to help smooth out rougher road surfaces. They're TLE tubeless-ready and feature RaceGuard puncture protection, making them well suited to the Pulsium's long-distance focus.
Lapierre uses internal cable routing through the cockpit to give the front of the bike a clean appearance. The alloy drop handlebar has a compact 120mm drop and 70mm reach, while 10 degrees of flare adds a little extra width and control when riding in the drops.
A Fizik Aliante R5 saddle complements the endurance focus, paired with a 27.2mm Lapierre alloy seatpost. The narrower seatpost diameter can also allow a little more compliance than larger-diameter designs, helping take the edge off rough road surfaces.
The Pulsium 7.0 C2 is a strong choice for riders who want a carbon road bike without being tied to a pure race-bike remit. Its endurance-focused frame, electronic Ultegra drivetrain, tubeless-ready DT Swiss wheels and 32mm tyres make it well suited to long road rides, sportives and exploring further from home.
Please note: The frame is covered by a 2-year warranty only. Component parts are subject to availability, and in some cases, components may be substituted with equivalent parts. Please refer to our warranty guide for further guidance.
