Product Description

Extremely compact light

The Lezyne Femto Drive rear light is one of the most compact on the market. It makes a great second light to your main system for added visibility. Coming in a range of colours, these machined aluminium LED lights are stylish and durable.

Tool-less attachment

No tools are needed for fitting so you can adjust positioning quickly and easily on the fly. The fixing band will fit most handlebars, seat posts, helmets and bags.

Secondary light source

At just 29g the low 15 lumen output is not bright enough as a main light but will add to the visibility of your main light.

The Femto Drive is incredibly popular because of its size and ease of use. When attached so the light is angled out you get great peripheral vision for junctions and crossroads.

Femto is a non-rechargeable light - power output will reduce over time.

Features

  • Engineered alloy body is light weight (31g with strap) and tough with long lasting, high polished and anodised finish.
  • Five settings, including innovative orbing mode are controlled by pressing the actual lens which acts as a large, easy to use (even with winter gloves on) button.
  • New hipster easy-fit bracket with patented durable rubber strap fits the bike, your belt, clothing, bags, seatpack, just about anywhere you like.
  • Improved side visibility custom frosted lens delivers 180° beam visibility.
  • Internal reflector boosts output. Easy entry battery replacement is fully water resistant (FL1 standard).
  • Each Femto is supplied with 2x CR2032 (watch type) batteries.
  • Replacement batteries available in twin pack and x8 pack.
  • 2 year warranty.
  • Output rating: Rear 7lm (red).
  • Burn Times: Steady Modes 30 hours; Flash Mode: 60 hours.

Lezyne Femto Drive LED Rear

These are very handy lights pretty small and unobtrusive easily and securely attached by strap or clip but with enough light output to be useful on the daily commute.

Excellent quality from an excellent brand

Pop this on and vehicles will see you clearly. It's a good compact and easy to remove accessory. You can get cheaper but it's best to buy a reputable brand.

Femto light

These are great lights I keep them in my bag for those occasions where I get caught cycling as it starts to get dark. They're small, bright and easy to take on and off.

Rear Lights Buying Guide

Rear Lights Buying Guide

While front lights can reach up to and above 1000 Lumens, at the rear anything from 20 to 100 lumens is plenty. Multiple rear lights are the best way to be seen from behind, especially when on the flash mode.

With one attached to the seatpost it can be good to have another on the chainstay, backpack or helmet. 20 Lumen would be sufficient for commuting in urban areas. For those living in darker areas or riding on dimly lit roads, a rear light closer to 100 lumens would be best.

Take a look at our Rear light comparison tool to help you choose the right bike light for your needs.

Wearable lights

Extra visibility

If you commute on lit-up city streets, rear lights are more than essential. To have a second light high up and in the eye-line of drivers and other road users is a very good idea. With reflective clothing and/or accessories like backpack covers and jackets, adding a wearable rear light will really make you stand out. Most backpacks will have a loop or somewhere to secure a light, using the strap or mount that come with the light.

Usually not a concern for MTB riders, nothing extravagant is needed for the rear, just so the rider can be seen on any road or path that might lead to the trail.
