“ I decided to buy this Helmet for various reasons, looks, safety features, performance, quality, price/ value compared to rival aero helmets. I was looking at the Specialised offering which was way more expensive. I went for the medium after measuring my head which was on small end of the range for a medium. This is because I wear a thin summer hat and a thicker winter one. There is plenty of adjustment. It’s a bit fiddly to pass the chin strap through for adjustment so be patient. I used the two finger spacer test for tightness. I thought the magnet closure was going to be a problem as I have a prominent Adam’s Apple, the closure magnet is a little bigger than the conventional ones but I’ve got used to it, although I know the buckle is there it’s not a problem in terms of rubbing. I made off the excess ends of the chin strap to which there is a fair length, with some double sided sticky pads, this has given a blind fixing which is neater than tape. I saw after googling people are cutting this off. Not a fan of this method. The helmet is comfortable and fast, well fast in perception and probably reality. It breathes well although I’ll see how it performs throughout the summer as at the time of writing it’s only around 20 degrees. All in all very pleased with this. It replaced a Giro aero helmet from 15 years ago for only £10 more than I paid all those years ago so very good value too.
