The Marin Alpine Trail E1 is designed for riders who enjoy tackling steep descents, technical climbs and demanding mountain terrain with the added confidence of full-power electric assistance. Combining a capable chassis with Bosch's latest drive system, it's built to help you make the most of every ride, whether you're fitting in extra laps after work or heading into the mountains for a full day on the trails.

At the centre of the bike is Marin's all-new Series 4 aluminium frame, developed specifically around the latest Bosch Performance Line CX motor. The proven MultiTrac LT suspension platform delivers 160mm of rear wheel travel, balancing efficient pedalling with excellent traction and control over rough terrain. Modern enduro geometry keeps the bike composed on steep descents, while adjustable headset cups and chainstay length/bottom bracket adjustment allow the handling to be fine-tuned to suit different trails and riding styles.

Suspension is provided by an X-Fusion Vengeance fork with 170mm of travel and a custom-tuned X-Fusion H3A Air rear shock. Together they help absorb repeated impacts from rocks, roots and drops while maintaining support through technical terrain, giving the bike a stable and controlled feel on demanding trails.

Power comes from Bosch's latest Performance Line CX motor, delivering up to 85Nm of torque with smooth, responsive assistance. The motor provides strong support on steep technical climbs while maintaining a natural pedalling feel, making it easier to conserve energy for longer rides and multiple descents.

The integrated Bosch PowerTube 800Wh battery offers plenty of capacity for long days on the trail, helping reduce charging stops and giving you the confidence to explore further into the mountains. Charging is straightforward thanks to the integrated charging port, while the battery remains neatly housed within the frame for a clean appearance and improved protection.

A Bosch Kiox 400 top tube display keeps essential ride information easily visible without cluttering the cockpit. Battery level, assistance mode and ride data are all available at a glance, allowing you to stay focused on the trail ahead.

The Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain is designed for dependable performance and long-term durability. Using Shimano's LINKGLIDE technology, it offers smooth shifting and increased resistance to drivetrain wear, making it particularly well suited to the higher loads of eMTB riding.

TRP DHR EVO Comp hydraulic disc brakes, paired with 200mm rotors front and rear, provide powerful, consistent braking performance on long descents and in challenging conditions, giving you confidence when speed needs to be kept in check.

Tubeless-ready alloy wheels are built to cope with aggressive trail riding and are paired with a mixed-wheel configuration that combines the rollover benefits of a larger front wheel with the agility of a smaller rear wheel. A TranzX dropper post with generous travel completes the package, making it easier to move around the bike on steep descents and technical trail features.
