45mm Tyre Clearance
With generous tyre clearance, the Silex 7000 accommodates up to 45mm tyres for added comfort and traction on mixed terrain. The durable and lightweight Easton EA70 AX wheels keep the bike responsive, while the Maxxis Rambler tyres provide reliable grip and puncture protection across gravel, dirt, and tarmac. Together, this wheel and tyre setup let the bike roll efficiently on the road while staying sure-footed off-road.

Wow! I’m so so glad that I decided to go with the Merida Silex 7000 2025! Every inch of it is quality. The complete build is so light, it’s perfectly put together, it looks the business, and it rides absolutely beautiful. I’ve had it blasting over trails, forests, roads and of course gravel, and it’s so fast, comfy and an absolute pleasure to ride! The Fidlock system is a massive bonus too. I’ll be taking this bike cycle touring next year in Holland and Germany and I can’t wait. Already had a decent load on it, and literally no difference to the ride. The stock tyres roll beautifully and coming from a road bike with 25mm tyres, I haven’t noticed any drop in speed especially on roads. The service from Tredz was first class.
