The Merida Silex 7000, now in its second generation, brings refined off-road capability with a 1.5-degree slacker head angle and larger-volume tyres, ensuring confidence on rough terrain. Built around a CF2 carbon frame with inboard disc mounts and Disc Cooler technology, the Silex 7000 keeps its braking performance efficient even on extended descents. Its progressive gravel geometry, long top tube and head tube, short stem, mirrors mountain bike handling, making it stable and responsive on diverse surfaces.
The Shimano GRX820 12-speed drivetrain delivers precise and quiet shifting, while the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes ensure reliable stopping power with the 180mm rotors. Equipped with Easton EA70 AX wheels and Maxxis Rambler tyres, the Silex 7000 handles a range of surfaces with excellent grip and durability.
The Silex is designed for versatile adventures, featuring multiple mounting points for bottles, racks, and bags, as well as the option to add mudguards for wetter conditions.
