The Mondraker Summum R Mullet brings World Cup pedigree to your local downhill tracks, with a geometry honed through elite-level competition and a spec that’s built to take on the toughest lines. This is a non-electric downhill mountain bike designed for gravity riders who want a race-proven platform with exceptional performance and handling.
The Stealth Alloy Evo frame uses Mondraker’s Forward Geometry for greater high-speed stability and front-end control, while the Zero Suspension System provides 200mm of rear wheel travel for smooth tracking over roots, rocks and big hits. A mullet wheel setup – 29” up front, 27.5” out back – gives the best of both worlds: rollover speed and nimble cornering.
At the front, the Fox 40 GRIP Performance fork delivers 203mm of adjustable travel via an air spring and Rush RL damper, while the rear is controlled by a Fox DHX2 Performance Elite coil shock, tuned for low-speed compression and rebound control.
The SRAM GX DH 7-speed drivetrain keeps things tough and reliable with a short-range cassette perfect for downhill use, while SRAM DB8 4-piston brakes with oversized rotors give you powerful, confident stopping on steep, technical terrain.
Mavic Deemax BikePark wheels are built to withstand repeated abuse, paired with Maxxis Assegai and Dissector tyres in DH casing for grip and durability. The cockpit, seatpost and saddle are all downhill-specific from Onoff and Ergon, offering rider confidence and all-day support when smashing laps.
While it shares its DNA with Mondraker’s World Cup team bikes – including input from riders like Dakotah Norton and Ronan Dunne – the Summum R Mullet is made from 6061 hydroformed alloy, making it more accessible while still retaining the stiffness and responsiveness demanded by elite racers.
Perfect for uplift days, bike parks or racing against the clock, the Mondraker Summum R Mullet is a DH machine with the performance to back it up.

* Mountain bikes are sized differently to road bikes. Typically, they are sized in inches as the first MTBs were produced in the USA. European brands like Lapierre and Haibike like to use centimetres for all their bikes. The measurements of their mountain bikes doesn’t match their road bikes but are like a simple conversion from the inches measurement. This is why we have included cm measurements in brackets for the Mountain bike column.
Read our bike size guide for more information on sizing.
