“ This is clearly a very strong lock, I got the longer version to enable to use a cold chan lock to meet the terms of my cycle insurance. You could certainly use it alone as a deterrent. The problem with gold locks is they are very heavy and this lock is no exception. It has a neat lock holder for the frame. The locks have several sizes. Do check the length of the lock is not too big for your frame.
