The Orbea Oiz H10 takes the race-inspired design of the Oiz platform and combines it with a hydroformed aluminium frame. Its 120mm suspension setup reflects the demands of modern cross-country riding, balancing efficient pedalling and responsive handling with the extra control needed for increasingly technical trails.
The Oiz Hydro frame uses an aluminium construction with an alloy suspension link, Boost spacing and a threaded BSA bottom bracket. Orbea's refined XC geometry is designed to keep the bike responsive under power while providing stability and predictable handling when speeds increase or the terrain becomes more demanding.
Fox suspension takes care of both ends. Up front, the Fox 34 Float SL Performance provides 120mm of travel and uses a GRIP damper. Designed specifically around lightweight trail and cross-country applications, the 34mm chassis balances steering precision with the low weight expected from an XC-focused fork.
A remote Push-to-Lock system lets you firm up the fork from the handlebar when you want a more efficient platform for smoother climbs and faster sections, before opening the suspension again when the trail becomes rougher.
At the rear, the Fox Float SL Performance shock is custom tuned for the Oiz and controls 120mm of rear wheel travel. Its EVOL air spring can be adjusted to suit rider weight and setup preferences, while remote lockout control makes it easy to change the suspension behaviour without taking your hands away from the controls.
The drivetrain combines a Shimano XT M8200 Shadow Plus rear derailleur with a Deore M6200 shifter and 12-speed 10-51T cassette. A 32T Shimano MT520 chainset provides a straightforward 1x setup, with the wide cassette giving you useful low gearing for steep climbs while retaining enough range for faster sections.
Shimano's Shadow Plus clutch system helps control chain movement over rough terrain, reducing unwanted chain slap and helping keep the drivetrain secure when the trail gets more technical.
Shimano MT410 hydraulic disc brakes provide predictable braking and straightforward speed control. Their hydraulic operation requires relatively little lever effort, making it easier to modulate braking through technical sections and on longer descents.
The 29in alloy wheels use 26mm internal-width rims and are tubeless ready. They're paired with 2.4in Schwalbe Wicked Will Evo tyres featuring Super Race construction, SpeedGrip compound and Addix technology. This gives the Oiz a fast-rolling XC-oriented setup while retaining useful grip and volume for rougher trails.
An OC Mountain Control MC22 dropper post comes as standard, allowing the saddle to be lowered from the handlebar. This provides more room to move around the bike when descending and cornering, adding useful control on technical terrain without moving away from the Oiz's cross-country focus.
The OC Mountain Performance cockpit uses a 760mm handlebar and MP21 stem, while a Fizik Vento Argo X5 saddle completes the contact points. Orbea develops its OC components alongside the bike, helping create a cohesive setup rather than treating the cockpit and finishing kit as an afterthought.
With 120mm Fox suspension, remote lockout, 29in wheels, wide 2.4in tyres and a dropper post, the Oiz H10 is shaped around modern XC riding. It's a good choice for riders who value efficient climbing and fast pedalling but also want the control to take on more technical cross-country trails.

* Mountain bikes are sized differently to road bikes. Typically, they are sized in inches as the first MTBs were produced in the USA. European brands like Lapierre and Haibike like to use centimetres for all their bikes. The measurements of their mountain bikes doesn’t match their road bikes but are like a simple conversion from the inches measurement. This is why we have included cm measurements in brackets for the Mountain bike column.
