The Orbea Oiz H30 brings the Oiz's cross-country-focused design to a hydroformed aluminium frame. Rather than chasing low weight alone, Orbea has designed the platform around efficient pedalling, responsive handling and enough suspension to tackle the increasingly technical terrain found on modern XC courses and fast trail rides.
The Oiz Hydro frame uses an aluminium construction with an alloy suspension link, Boost spacing and a threaded BSA bottom bracket. Its geometry follows the same modern XC approach as the wider Oiz range, aiming to remain responsive when putting power down while providing stability and control when speeds increase.
Up front, the RockShox Reba uses a DebonAir+ air spring and Motion Control damping with 120mm of travel. Air pressure can be adjusted to suit rider weight and preference, while its three-position control lets you alter the suspension behaviour to suit climbs, smoother sections and rougher terrain.
At the rear, a custom-tuned Fox Float SL Performance shock controls 120mm of travel. The lightweight XC-focused air shock uses an EVOL air sleeve and remote push-lock control, allowing suspension settings to be changed from the handlebar rather than reaching down to the shock while riding.
Shimano Deore M6200 provides straightforward 1x12-speed shifting. A 32T chainring is paired with a wide-range 11-51T SunRace cassette, giving you useful low gearing for steep or sustained climbs while retaining the simplicity of a single-chainring drivetrain. The Shadow Plus rear derailleur also helps control chain movement over rough ground.
Shimano MT201 hydraulic disc brakes provide predictable braking with relatively little lever effort, giving you the control needed for managing speed through technical sections and on descents.
The alloy wheels use 26mm internal-width rims and are tubeless ready. They're fitted with 2.4in Maxxis Rekon tyres with EXO protection and tubeless-ready casings. The relatively high-volume tyres provide useful grip and cushioning over roots, rocks and loose surfaces, while the Rekon's versatile tread remains well suited to cross-country and trail riding.
An OC Mountain Control MC22 dropper post comes as standard. Being able to lower the saddle from the handlebar gives you more room to move around the bike on steep or technical descents, adding versatility beyond a more traditional fixed-post XC setup.
A 780mm alloy handlebar uses a 35mm clamp and 12mm rise, creating a modern XC cockpit with plenty of leverage for controlling the bike through technical sections. Internal cable routing helps keep the overall frame and cockpit tidy.
With 120mm of suspension at both ends, remote suspension control, wide 2.4in tyres and a dropper post, the Oiz H30 reflects how cross-country bikes have evolved towards more technical terrain. It's still designed around efficient, fast riding, but with extra control for riders whose XC routes include rougher trails and more demanding descents.

* Mountain bikes are sized differently to road bikes. Typically, they are sized in inches as the first MTBs were produced in the USA. European brands like Lapierre and Haibike like to use centimetres for all their bikes. The measurements of their mountain bikes doesn’t match their road bikes but are like a simple conversion from the inches measurement. This is why we have included cm measurements in brackets for the Mountain bike column.
