The Orbea Oiz M20 is a performance-focused full-suspension mountain bike designed for modern cross-country racing and fast trail riding. Combining lightweight carbon construction with 120mm suspension travel, it balances efficient climbing with the control needed for increasingly technical XC courses.
The OMR carbon frame features Orbea's Fiberlink suspension design, which uses a carbon linkage to help reduce weight while maintaining stiffness. Race-focused geometry provides responsive handling when accelerating and climbing, alongside stability when descending. The frame also features Boost spacing, a threaded BSA bottom bracket and SIC internal cable integration.
Up front, the Fox 34 Float SL Factory fork provides 120mm of travel, with a lightweight chassis designed for demanding XC riding. Its GRIP SL damper offers controlled suspension performance, while the remote Push-to-Lock system allows riders to firm up the fork for smoother climbs and faster sections. Kashima-coated stanchions help reduce friction for smooth suspension operation.
At the rear, a Fox Float SL Factory shock controls 120mm of suspension travel. Featuring an EVOL air sleeve and a custom tune for the Oiz, it provides traction and support over uneven terrain. Remote Push-to-Lock adjustment allows riders to firm up the suspension when pedalling efficiency is a priority. Orbea's I-Line system neatly integrates the shock control into the frame.
Shimano XT M8200 12-speed gearing provides a wide range of ratios for varied terrain. The Shadow Plus rear derailleur helps reduce chain movement over rough ground, while the 34T Shimano XT chainset and 10-51T cassette offer gearing for steep climbs and faster sections. Shimano MT600 hydraulic disc brakes provide controlled stopping power when navigating technical descents and tight corners.
OQUO Mountain Performance MP28PRO wheels are paired with 2.4in Maxxis Rekon Race tyres. Their low-profile tread balances rolling efficiency with off-road grip, making them well suited to fast XC riding. The 120 TPI casing provides a supple ride, while EXO sidewall protection adds durability. The tyres are also tubeless ready, allowing a compatible tubeless setup.
The cockpit features a 760mm OC Mountain Performance MP30 handlebar and an MP21 stem with a -6-degree angle, creating a race-focused riding position. An OC Mountain Control MC22 dropper post allows riders to lower the saddle for additional clearance on technical descents, while the 140mm Fizik Vento Argo X5 saddle provides a supportive platform for pedalling.
