With 170mm of travel front and rear, the Wild is tuned for aggressive riding. The long, stable geometry keeps things composed at speed, while maintaining agility through technical sections. This is a bike that feels planted when the trail gets wild, yet remains engaging and precise on every ride.
Up front, the RockShox ZEB DebonAir+ fork is purpose-built for e-MTB abuse, offering outstanding stiffness and small-bump sensitivity. At the rear, the Fox Float X Performance shock provides controlled, progressive suspension with a custom tune to suit the Wild’s chassis. Together, they deliver confidence-inspiring traction and control on steep, rough descents and high-speed trail sections.
The Bosch Performance Line CX motor delivers up to 85Nm of torque with smooth, controlled power delivery that excels on steep climbs and technical terrain. Paired with the large 750Wh PowerTube battery, the Wild M20 offers the range to tackle long, demanding rides without compromise. Whether you’re sessioning trails or heading deep into the mountains, the power is there when you need it.
The Bosch System Controller keeps the cockpit clean and uncluttered, integrating neatly into the top tube while providing clear system feedback and intuitive control.
Shimano’s 12-speed drivetrain combines SLX and Deore components for reliable, precise shifting under load, with a wide 10–51T cassette that’s ideal for steep climbs. Shimano MT420 4-piston brakes deliver strong, consistent stopping power, essential for controlling speed on technical descents.
Rolling on Race Face AR 30 tubeless-ready rims and Maxxis Minion 2.4” tyres, the Wild M20 offers exceptional grip, durability, and confidence across loose, rocky, and high-speed terrain. A long-travel dropper post and wide 800mm bars complete the aggressive trail setup.
Bosch Performance Update 2.0
Bosch have dropped a fresh update for the Performance Line CX and CX-R motors, and it’s a big one for riders who want more punch on the trails. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.
Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.
The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.
As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.
Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals. Bosch are also adding more features and connectivity options, including Garmin integration and new power supply options.
One thing worth keeping in mind — more power means more stress on drivetrain components, so increased wear is expected over time. If you’re unsure about compatibility, servicing or upgrading components, get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to help.

* Mountain bikes are sized differently to road bikes. Typically, they are sized in inches as the first MTBs were produced in the USA. European brands like Lapierre and Haibike like to use centimeters for all their bikes. The measurements of their mountain bikes doesn’t match their road bikes but is like a simple conversion from the inches measurement. This is why we have included cm measurements in brackets for the e mountain bike column.
