Bottle cage with handlebar mount.

Looks good but unfortunately the clam us too big for my smaller dia. bars. I now need to find some ali spacers to pack out the gap. Would have been nice to know fit size prior to purchase!

Bottle Cage

Bought for my daughter's bike as it's too small to have a normal bottle cage. It fits on her handle bar nicely. She was desperate for a bottle cage but her bike wasn't the right sort. Very impressed with quality, price, and free delivery is a definite incentive to use Tredz again. Thank you!

Oxford handlebar bottle cage

This product is really well made even the fixing clamp is metal instead of the usual cheap plastic which is on the majority of other bottle cages I have looked at. I bought this for a child's bike so the clamp was slightly too big for the handle bars but this is easily overcome by using a small piece of plastic packing. My gran-daughter is chuffed to bits with it as am. I looked at one in Halfords which was nowhere near the quality of this and it was double the price, also free delivery on this one. All in all can't fault the product or the service, hence all five stars.

Oxford bottle cage

Since fitting a new bicycle lock to my braze-ons for a bottle cage, I bought this as it had a bracket to fit the cage to my handle bars. Even though my handle bars aren't quite round, the bracket fits fine. The bottle cage had to go inside, towards me, rather than facing out due to the brake cables, but there is plenty room, and I don't always carry a bottle, so if you're handy with an allen key, you could leave the bracket on, and fit the cage each time you needed it! Lovely.

Best handlebar bottle cage

I am restoring a 1979 Dawes "Lightning" which does not have brazed on lugs on the down tube. This bottle cage is lightweight sturdy and well made. I already have one on my 1974 Claud Butler "Electron" and it is excellent. Highly recommended.

Great product

Got this for my girlfriends old road bike which doesn't have the mounts in the frame. The clamp fitted perfectly on the handlebars and the cage holds the bottles well.

Bottles & Cages Guide

What are bike bottles and cages?

A bottle and cage set-up is a really efficient way of staying hydrated while you’re riding. Simply reach out and your beverage is close at hand. It’s so important to drink plenty of fluid while you’re riding to prevent dehydration, so anything that makes it easier to do that is a must-have.

Who needs a bottle and cage?

Riders who need instant refreshment use bottles and cages. Whether the bottle contains water or an energy drink, it’s close at hand and easily supped from a specifically designed mouthpiece. Remember, even if you’re pootling along at a sedate pace, you’re still exercising, which is always thirsty work.

What are the choices?

Choose the bottle which you’ll find easiest to drink out of and the most simple to use with an accompanying cage. The cage selection ranges from feather light carbon holders to sturdy steel receptacles. Side-loading cages are great for compact frames where space is at a premium. BPA-free construction means you won’t ingest any nasty chemicals.

What should I buy with them?

A bottle brush is brilliant for cleaning, especially with smaller bristles to clean the mouthpiece. If your bike doesn’t have eyelets for a cage, there are adaptors available.

Anything else?

Make sure you regularly clean your bottle – it’s very easy to leave it festering on your bike. A few ice cubes in summer gives you a refreshingly chilled drink.
