There is a reason these are so light and cheap

Pros: Lighter than other 650b 38mm tires Cheaper than compass tubeless Cons: Very poor wear - only last 2000 miles before they start getting thing and get lots of punctures Extremely thin tread means you get constant punctures. They seal up quickly with Orange seal, but I have punctures 3-4 times a week on gravel with these tires. Never happens with compass tires or soma B line because the tread on those tires is actually reasonable Poor quality. I am on my 3rd tire now, the 1st lasted 200 miles before it was destroyed by a cut, 2nd lasted 500 miles before the casing separated from the tread, 3rd lasted 900 miles before it was destroyed by a cut. Sometimes dangerously bad grip on wet roads. I don't know how these are so different from compass tires, seeing as they are both made from panaracer, but these are very very slippy when wet compared to compass

Excellent for bikepacking

These tyres are truly exceptional. I run them with inner tubes. Not tried them tubeless. Easy to install. Great grip, confidence inspiring in the wet. Roll fast and the 700x38 takes the buzz out of poor road surfaces. Hold up well, minimal wear on the rear after 200+ miles and no cuts. If your frame has clearance and you do not mind a little extra weight for the sake of comfort then they are a no brainer for bike packing or fast touring! Buy some!
