Excellent light weight cage

The natural titanium finish gives this cage an appealing 'retro' look. The design holds bottles tightly with no movement or jettisoned bottles. The welds are of a good quality and I expect these will last well.

Ti Cage

Perfect, dearer than I usually pay for cages, but I've got a new Ti frame I've built up, I tried plastic & carbon ones I have in the garage but they just didn't look good on the bike, So i decided to splash out & buy Ti, & they were definetly worth it, suits the bike perfectly.

Super Lightweight Metal!

Bought a pair of these cages. On arrival appear to be well manufactured and noticeably lighter than many cages available. With 750ml high5 water bottles very snug which should aid with no loss of whist riding, although easy enough to remove also. Aesthetically they are very simplistic, smooth metal with a small rsp logo stamp at their top. Titanium has many great merits as do these cages. Unfortunately had to return pair, as my small road bike could not accommodate 750ml bottles x10+ owned without fouling the frame. :(

Smart, tight 'n light!

I tried black, I tried white but the colour match wasn't right for my new Ti bike so i went for this matching cage. I used it on a 100km Paris-Roubaix style sportive with plenty of unpaved, rocky sections to shake out the unwary bottle - never wavered - held it snug but allowed removal/insertion with no real extra effort. So from a tad expensive vanity selection (and it matches perfectly), I also gained a well engineered bottle cage, oh and of course it's very light too. Very pleased overall.

Bottles & Cages Guide

What are bike bottles and cages?

A bottle and cage set-up is a really efficient way of staying hydrated while you’re riding. Simply reach out and your beverage is close at hand. It’s so important to drink plenty of fluid while you’re riding to prevent dehydration, so anything that makes it easier to do that is a must-have.

Who needs a bottle and cage?

Riders who need instant refreshment use bottles and cages. Whether the bottle contains water or an energy drink, it’s close at hand and easily supped from a specifically designed mouthpiece. Remember, even if you’re pootling along at a sedate pace, you’re still exercising, which is always thirsty work.

What are the choices?

Choose the bottle which you’ll find easiest to drink out of and the most simple to use with an accompanying cage. The cage selection ranges from feather light carbon holders to sturdy steel receptacles. Side-loading cages are great for compact frames where space is at a premium. BPA-free construction means you won’t ingest any nasty chemicals.

What should I buy with them?

A bottle brush is brilliant for cleaning, especially with smaller bristles to clean the mouthpiece. If your bike doesn’t have eyelets for a cage, there are adaptors available.

Anything else?

Make sure you regularly clean your bottle – it’s very easy to leave it festering on your bike. A few ice cubes in summer gives you a refreshingly chilled drink.
