The Raleigh Captus Low Step is designed to make riding feel straightforward and approachable. The new 6061 aluminium frame uses a low step-through design, so getting on and off the bike is easy, especially when riding in everyday clothes or carrying bags.

Up front, the Suntour NEX suspension fork offers 50mm of travel to smooth out broken tarmac, kerbs and cycle paths, helping reduce fatigue on longer rides. The riding position is upright and comfortable, giving good visibility in traffic and a relaxed feel on leisure routes.

Power comes from the Bosch Active Line motor, which delivers smooth, quiet assistance that feels natural as you pedal. With 40Nm of torque, it’s well suited to steady cruising, gentle climbs and stop-start urban riding. The 400Wh battery is mounted on the rear rack, keeping it easy to remove for charging while leaving space free on the frame.

The Bosch Purion 200 display keeps things simple, showing key ride data clearly and letting you change assistance modes from the bars without distraction. Shimano CUES 9-speed gears give a practical range for mixed terrain, while Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent braking in all weather.

Comfort-focused finishing kit, including wide 50c tyres, a supportive Selle Royal saddle and stable 700c wheels, round out a practical e-bike built for everyday journeys and easy-going rides.
