Love it. Doesn't quite get up really steep hills though.

I love the bike. Its looks were what made me chose the Spirit. Tredz did a price match which made me very happy. I wasn't quite happy with the style of handlebars it came with. I wasn't expecting the straighter styled ones after seeing promotional images showing the more curvy dutch style. Both Tredz and Raleigh were absolutely amazing at keeping me happy. Raleigh sent me a replacement set, and Tredz fit them. Wonderful customer service from both. Performance wise, I struggled to get up quite a steep hill (10.5% apparently) on full power, but on a medium hill it was like the wind was behind me. My major beef has been with the finance agreement. I somehow managed to chose Paypal. I didn't actually meant to, I certainly didn't want to! But that is who I ended up using. Not sure how I got it wrong during the application process as I initially wanted to put down a deposit and this is not even an option with PayPal. I don't recall actually getting the choice to click on. Please be warned that the PayPal option is not actually 0% finance! I was led to believe it was, as this is what it states when setting up the agreement. Unfortunately I only found this out after setting it up and noting my repayments were going to be more than they should. Turns out PayPal were going to charge me an extra £5 a month for the privilege of using PayPal. Cheeky beggars! I ended up paying it off in full as I was so annoyed with them. Their customer service was awful (and rude!). But apart from this glitch, I am very happy with my purchase.
