Yeah, its a pump
by Anonymous user on 21/08/2018

Bought a Rockshox pump from Tredz which has a stick thing one end and a pipe on other. Now, if you push the sticky thing in and out you find that lots of wind comes out the pipe end. I was also excited to find that if you place your thumb over the pipe when doing said action you can recreate a farty bum burp. Such joy ! Good on ya Tredz, keep up the good work...

Perfect little tool
by Sean H on 17/02/2018

People giving negative reviews complaining about it being too small or not registering pressure once connected obviously don't know how to use it. 1. It's small and easily transportable, you don't need a massive pump as it's just for adjustments. 2. Once you connect the pump and pull the lever back it registers the pressure immediately. It's the perfect little pump and you can't go wrong with it especially with almost 40% off currently.

useful tool
by Peter C on 22/07/2017

it's small so you have to pump a lot; when you first screw the connector tight the dial does not register a pressure. I find it best to deflate the cylinder a bit, then pump back up to the target pressure, which registers clearly

Shock pump
by David M on 20/08/2016

This was my first order from Tredz and definitely won't be the last, aside from the pump being very well priced and super light, the service is fantastic - I chose the standard delivery and received an email the following day to say that it had been dispatched - And one more day later my parcel arrived...along with some yummy free sweets.....Thanks Tredz

Bike Pumps Guide

What are bike pumps?

A bike pump is essential for keeping your tyres inflated, preventing pesky pinch punctures and providing more efficient riding. Tyres gradually deflate even if your bike stays inactive for a while, so it’s good practice to top them up as often as you can.

Who needs a bike pump?

Anyone with a bike. A mini pump or CO2 cannister can be vital in getting you home after a puncture, or to work on time if you’re commuting.

What are the choices?

Traditional pumps are easy to use and inexpensive to buy. A hand pump is operated with a pumping action and is available in standard or mini size. Both types can be fitted to eyelets in your bike frame or smaller pumps will fit in a saddle bag. Track or floor pumps are great for the garage – inflating high psi levels in just a couple of movements. CO2 cannister instantly release air into your tyres and are diminutive in size.

What should I buy with it?

If your pump isn’t compatible the valve on your tyre (Presta or Schrader) you may need to buy an adaptor. CO2 cartridges require a small adaptor for use.

Anything else?

A gauge is a good way of seeing how much air you’ve added, preventing the dreaded pop sound from an overambitious inflation. Also, NEVER take CO2 cartridges with you on an aeroplane!
