Product Description

Simply put, the new GX Eagle derailleur extends the range of your riding because of its ability to handle the 10-50T Eagle cassette—but there‘s more to this new derailleur than capacity. The GX Eagle derailleur includes the Type-3 Roller Bearing Clutch, so that chain management feels the same on every cassette cog, small or large. And a new Eagle pulley design, combined with the SRAM Eagle chain, helps to make this drivetrain super quiet and incredibly efficient.

Key Features:

  • Best in class chain management with our proven X‘HORIZON" design and Type-3 Roller Bearing Clutch technology
  • Simplified installation and added robustness with our repositioned cage lock
  • Best in class efficiency and quiet operation with our Eagle pulley technology
  • The GX Eagle derailleur carries With it the rough-and-tumble toughness of our X-HORIZON design: no derailleur wants to be abused, but the X-HORIZON design is built to Withstand a lot.

Occasionally, without notice, manufacturers change product design and/or specifications.

Already running this on another bike . The gear change action is super smooth and so far has been faultless . I have usually run Shimano XTR for its quality gear action but I think this is better and and as a result my new bike build is having the Eagle set up too .

12 speed heaven.
by Nigel C on 10/09/2017

What a superb mech for the money. With the GX Eagle group set, Sram have brought 12 speed to the masses. I had a 1x10 set up for a couple of years and now hills that I found near impossible I can now spin up. Set up was easy. I was never too sure how to set the B-Adjust screw properly, the gauge that came with the mech took all the guess work out of a perfect set up. No need for the expensive and IMHO ugly GX crank set. I use my old Race Face turbine with the GX Eagle set up and it works flawlessly, without the need for a chain guide. Shifting is crisp and so very quiet
