The Scott Scale 925 takes its inspiration from modern cross-country race bikes but balances speed with everyday trail capability. The custom butted 6061 alloy frame keeps weight low while delivering the stiffness and responsiveness needed for fast acceleration and efficient climbing. Scott’s race-focused geometry gives the bike a direct, agile feel while maintaining confidence on rougher sections of trail.
Internal cable routing through the Syncros Cable Integration System keeps the cockpit tidy and protects cables from dirt and trail spray. The frame also features a UDH-compatible dropout and Boost spacing for added durability and compatibility with modern drivetrain standards.
Up front, the RockShox SID SL 3P Air fork provides 110mm of travel with a three-mode damper and remote lockout, allowing quick adjustment between fully open, traction-focused and firm climbing settings. That flexibility helps the Scale feel efficient on smoother climbs while remaining composed when the trail becomes more technical.
Shimano’s XT rear derailleur paired with Deore 12-speed shifting delivers dependable gear changes across a wide 10-51t cassette range, making steep climbs and fast XC riding easier to manage. Shimano MT401 hydraulic disc brakes provide consistent stopping power in varied conditions.
Rolling on 29in tubeless-ready wheels fitted with Maxxis Rekon Race tyres, the Scale 925 carries speed efficiently while maintaining grip across hardpack trails, loose corners and mixed terrain. A Syncros dropper post adds extra control on steeper descents and technical sections, giving the bike broader trail capability beyond pure XC racing.
The result is a hardtail that feels quick and responsive on climbs and flowing singletrack, while still offering the confidence and control needed for longer rides and technical trail centres.
