Specilaized Turbo Levo review

If we were to sum up the Turbo Levo Hardtail Comp 6Fattie in three words, they'd be flotation, power, and fun. That's because it takes the crazy traction that comes with our 6Fattie wheel system and combines it with a geometry that rides like a trail bike should and our Turbo technology's smile-inspiring power to ride more trails. It's really something pretty special.

M5 Premium aluminium construction is paired with our Trail 6Fattie Geometry and a hardtail design to support a ride that provides slack, confident handling, maximum efficiency, and tons of speed. The frame also features an integrated battery mount at the down tube for fast and easy battery removal, plus a forged and braced motor mount at bottom bracket. This keeps the aesthetic streamlined and the weight distribution perfectly balanced. Lastly, you'll find fully enclosed internal cable routing for a clean look and even cleaner cables, and internal routing for an alloy dropper post.

The Turbo 1.2 is custom built for the Levo Hardtail and features our exclusive Rx Trail Tune that gives you the power to explore new trails. It has many other features that no other e-bike can touch, like instant engagement, fantastic heat management, a double freewheel design that disengages the gear box when you hit top speed, and silent, smooth, and consistent output—even at max power.

The Turbo M1-504 battery features an integrated Trail Display and ANT+/Bluetooth® module with Mission Control App connectivity. It houses 504Wh of trail-taming juice, and is neatly integrated into the down tube.

About time

When I was looking for an Ebike I searched youtube for a decent review on this bike..But nothing apart from the FSR on... thats not much help.. So here is my review. Having never had an bike and only a very limited go on one I was dipping my toe in with a larger than I expected budget. Yes, they are costly but when you are staring down the barrel of £3k you have to get it right. Around me there was no where I could try one out ....BUT.... when it arrived and charged I went for my first spin...Flat lines AMAZING!yes, they is one thing that has bugged the hell out of me in the last 2 rides and that is when you are cruising along if you hit the 15mph restriction for the assisted motor there is a sudden feeling of slowing down and lack of power.. you only get this in turbo mode though or going down hill whilst peddling...the riding experience is simple brilliant. On my commute I have to tackle a stoking 3 mile hill. When I arrive at work I am normally exhausted...today however the LEvo just eats the hill up. Yes, you still have to put effort in and your heart rate still rises but if you don't want this get a motor bike! The dropper post is great quality and works well as is the general build quality. The hum of the tyres makes you feel like you are ridding a battle ready Hummer...It came with solid PSI so I let some out for a smoother rider... The batters is doing well. I use it at 80% this morning and rode 9 miles (7 on eco' and 2 on turbo) and now its on 60%. I wouldn't want to try to lift this bike over a fence and I'm 6'2" ! Is it worth the money... yes, for what i need it for, trails and commute its the best I could ask for. I have an orange five for down hill and a Genesis carbon Datum 2 for road...and this is fast becoming my fav'!!!
