Am I less shocked?

I'm not too sure exactly what I expected from a suspension seat post, but whatever it was I think it was a bit more than what this item delivered. The biggest issue is the lack of any instructions on how to adjust it. I guessed the screw underneath the post is what one is supposed to use but how much should one turn it by - I've no idea. So I'm not sure if I'm using the device in the best way or not - if I turn anymore it seems to loose all support but if I don't turn it much I'm not sure there is any difference in the jarring UK roads give me. I think its working but I'm not sure. It really does need some instructions printing on the packaging - its plenty big enough to carry many lines about how to use the device.
