As a semi-rimless design, the Aethon also offers superior flexibility and enhanced comfort compared to full frame Shield lens designs. Additionally, the Aethon includes a grip-enhancing removable brow bar. When removed, this offers greater airflow over the top of the lens in warm conditions and a less obstructed view through the upper half of the lens when riding on the drops or tri-bars.
