The Trek Powerfly FS+ 6 Gen 4 is built for riders who want to go beyond the usual loops and discover what lies over the next ridge. At its heart is the Bosch Performance Line CX motor, delivering 120Nm of torque for confident climbing and responsive assistance on technical trails. Paired with the 800Wh PowerTube battery, it gives you the range to explore longer and climb more without worrying about running out of steam.

The Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame is both sturdy and lightweight, designed around Trek’s proven trail geometry and fitted with 120mm of rear travel for control and comfort. The Fox AWL Rail HD fork brings 130mm of front travel, soaking up roots and rocky tracks with the control of an air spring and the adjustability of the Rail 2.0 damper.

The drivetrain is a reliable and trail-ready combination of Shimano XT and SLX 12-speed components, giving you smooth, responsive shifting with a massive gear range courtesy of the 10-51T cassette. Shimano 4-piston hydraulic brakes with large rotors provide controlled braking power even on steep and unpredictable descents.

For added trail performance, Bontrager Line TLR wheels are wrapped in 29x2.4" Gunnison Pro XR tyres, offering dependable grip and support over varied terrain. A Bontrager Line dropper post adds flexibility when descending or tackling technical features, while integrated mounts give you the option to add racks, mudguards and lights.

Bosch Performance Update 2.0

Bosch have dropped a fresh update for the Performance Line CX and CX-R motors, and it’s a big one for riders who want more punch on the trails. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.

Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.

The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.

As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.

Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals. Bosch are also adding more features and connectivity options, including Garmin integration and new power supply options.
