At the core is Trek’s Alpha Gold Aluminium frame, designed with modern trail geometry, a tapered head tube and Boost spacing for added stiffness and control. Internal routing keeps cables clean and protected, while the threaded bottom bracket adds long-term serviceability.
Up front, the RockShox Recon Silver RL fork provides 140mm of air-sprung travel, easily adjustable for rider weight. The Motion Control damper allows for fine-tuning, and the lockout feature gives you extra efficiency on smoother climbs and fire roads.
The Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain delivers reliable shifting and a wide 10–51T cassette, offering plenty of range for climbing and descending. Paired with a 30T chainring and a robust Shimano MT511 crankset, it's ready for whatever the trail throws at you.
Rolling on 29" Bontrager Line wheels and 2.6" Gunnison Pro XR tyres, the Roscoe 7 balances rollover speed with confident grip. These tubeless-ready wheels and tyres can be set up for lower pressures to improve traction and reduce punctures—ideal for trail conditions that vary from loose and dusty to rooty and slick.
Braking is handled by Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors front and rear, giving you steady stopping power and control. A TranzX dropper post with 150mm of travel lets you lower the saddle quickly when things get steep or technical, then return to climbing position with a push of the lever.
The Roscoe 7 rounds out its trail-ready spec with a comfortable Bontrager Verse saddle, wide 780mm alloy bars for stable handling, and durable nylon platform pedals to get you rolling straight away.
Whether you're riding local woodland loops, progressing on trail centre descents, or just out for a good time, the Roscoe 7 delivers smiles for miles—and serious capability when you need it.

* Mountain bikes are sized differently to road bikes. Typically, they are sized in inches as the first MTBs were produced in the USA. European brands like Lapierre and Haibike like to use centimetres for all their bikes. The measurements of their mountain bikes doesn’t match their road bikes but are like a simple conversion from the inches measurement. This is why we have included cm measurements in brackets for the Mountain bike column.
Read our bike size guide for more information on sizing.
