The VooDoo Bizango-E takes the proven handling and confidence of the original Bizango and adds powerful Shimano electric assistance to help riders go further, climb easier and squeeze more runs into every ride. Whether you’re progressing your trail riding skills, exploring new routes or simply looking for extra support on demanding terrain, the Bizango-E delivers a capable and approachable ride feel.
At the centre of the bike is Shimano’s EP6 mid-drive motor, delivering 85Nm of torque for strong and natural-feeling assistance on steep climbs and technical sections. The system offers three assistance modes — Eco, Trail and Boost — allowing you to tailor power delivery to the terrain and your riding style. A Shimano SC-EN500 LCD display keeps key ride information easy to view while making mode changes simple on the move.
The lightweight alloy hardtail frame uses modern geometry with a confidence-inspiring 66.5-degree head angle that balances stability on steeper descents with responsive handling on flatter, flowing trails. Internal cable routing keeps the frame looking clean while helping protect cables from mud and trail debris.
Up front, the RockShox Psylo Silver R suspension fork provides 140mm of travel to smooth rough trails, roots and rocky sections. Its coil spring design keeps setup straightforward while offering dependable small bump sensitivity straight out of the box.
Shimano CUES 10-speed gearing is paired with a wide-range 11-48T cassette, giving you plenty of climbing range for steep technical sections while maintaining reliable shifting performance in mixed conditions. Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes provide controlled stopping power with good modulation in wet and dry weather alike.
The Bizango-E rolls on 29-inch wheels fitted with Maxxis Forekaster tyres, a versatile tread choice that balances rolling speed with dependable grip and predictable cornering in changing trail conditions. A dropper seatpost allows quick saddle height adjustment for improved control on technical descents and steeper sections of trail.
The integrated 504Wh Shimano battery offers plenty of range for trail centre laps, longer adventures and everyday riding, though overall range will vary depending on rider weight, terrain, weather conditions and assistance mode selection.
With capable suspension, modern geometry and reliable Shimano electric assistance, the VooDoo Bizango-E is a confident and versatile electric hardtail built for riders who want to ride more trails, more often.

* Mountain bikes are sized differently to road bikes. Typically, they are sized in inches as the first MTBs were produced in the USA. European brands like Lapierre and Haibike like to use centimeters for all their bikes. The measurements of their mountain bikes doesn’t match their road bikes but is like a simple conversion from the inches measurement. This is why we have included cm measurements in brackets for the e mountain bike column.
