Frame fit pump

A first class product which fits the cycle perfectly and pumps tyres most efficiently. FAR better than the modern equivalent of mini pump which is not in the same league."If it ain't broke........Don't fix it.

A trusty and reliable accessory

I have been using these for years and they beat unreliable mini pumps hands down. Shame only black available as White and Black silver would be better for some of my old "Steelers" One criticism is that the pump arrived in a plastic bag without any paper tube or bubble wrap to protect it in transit.

Great pump for the money

I don't like mini-pumps and bought this for my new bike. Good fit in the frame and it just works. What more do you want?

If you ride with a Camelback you need one of these.

The small version fits in a day bag or Camelback Mule is as light as any mini pump but works so much better quick inflation to the pressure you want. Why would you pay more for something that works less well

Zefal rev88 frame fit pump

I do not understand why anyone would to buy an expensive pump like the HPX when this one is so good its super light weight and works. Ok it may bend a little and wont last as long as a HPX but its so cheap I just leave them on my bike and let others borrow it when they only have there mini pumps and empty CO2 cartridges

Bike Pumps Guide

What are bike pumps?

A bike pump is essential for keeping your tyres inflated, preventing pesky pinch punctures and providing more efficient riding. Tyres gradually deflate even if your bike stays inactive for a while, so it’s good practice to top them up as often as you can.

Who needs a bike pump?

Anyone with a bike. A mini pump or CO2 cannister can be vital in getting you home after a puncture, or to work on time if you’re commuting.

What are the choices?

Traditional pumps are easy to use and inexpensive to buy. A hand pump is operated with a pumping action and is available in standard or mini size. Both types can be fitted to eyelets in your bike frame or smaller pumps will fit in a saddle bag. Track or floor pumps are great for the garage – inflating high psi levels in just a couple of movements. CO2 cannister instantly release air into your tyres and are diminutive in size.

What should I buy with it?

If your pump isn’t compatible the valve on your tyre (Presta or Schrader) you may need to buy an adaptor. CO2 cartridges require a small adaptor for use.

Anything else?

A gauge is a good way of seeing how much air you’ve added, preventing the dreaded pop sound from an overambitious inflation. Also, NEVER take CO2 cartridges with you on an aeroplane!
