Refined Carbon Frame
At the heart of the SLR 9.0 LTD is the C7 carbon frame paired with a lighter C10 carbon fork. Boardman has refined the frame with deeper tube profiles, dropped seat stays and internal cable routing, giving the bike a cleaner appearance while improving aerodynamic efficiency.
Rather than chasing outright speed at the expense of versatility, Boardman has focused on creating a bike that's easier to live with.
Wider Tyre Clearance
Tyre clearance has increased to 36mm, letting you choose wider tyres for improved comfort and confidence on rougher roads. Whether you're local roads are rough, tackling long-distance events or simply looking for a smoother ride, the extra clearance gives you plenty of flexibility.
SRAM's Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) makes replacement hangers easier to source, while hidden mudguard mounts let you fit full-length guards without spoiling the bike's clean lines.
Unique Paint Scheme
Finishing things off is a unique paint scheme inspired by road cycling's biggest race, giving the LTD model an exclusive look.
Shimano 105 Mechanical
The SLR 9.0 LTD is equipped with Shimano's 12-speed mechanical 105 groupset, complete with hydraulic disc brakes.
The wide-ranging 2x drivetrain is well suited to everything from rolling roads to longer climbs, whether you're riding solo, taking on a sportive or trying to stay with the fastest riders on your local club run.
Modern Road Wheels
Boardman has paired the bike with lightweight, tubeless-ready alloy wheels designed around modern wider road tyres.
The combination promises efficient rolling on smooth tarmac while helping reduce road buzz when surfaces become less forgiving. Thanks to the generous tyre clearance, there's also plenty of scope to tailor the bike to your riding style by fitting wider tyres if comfort or mixed road conditions are a priority.
Clean Cockpit
At the front of the bike, the internally routed cockpit keeps cables neatly hidden for a clean, uncluttered appearance.
Unlike some internally routed systems, the design still allows for relatively straightforward adjustments when dialling in your riding position, making it easier to achieve a comfortable fit without adding unnecessary complexity.
