Orro Venturi Range Review
STC Carbon Frame
The Venturi range features an aerodynamically optimised frame that rewards you with brilliant speed. This is an aero bike that encourages you to ride fast but lets you cruise in comfort when you want to calm things down. Using unidirectional spread tow patterns, the frame and fork is low in weight while remaining stiff and comfortable.
Integrated Headset
The headtube uses over-sized 1” ½ bearings top and bottom for added stiffness and to help facilitate fully internal cable routing through the frame. If you like a fast road bike with razor-sharp handling and a high degree of comfort this design ensures a responsive ride.
Integrated Cockpit
The Venturi features fully integrated cables through the bar and stem on every model. This reduces drag coefficient while emphasizing the clean lines and frame finish. The integrated design on all models is flexible so you can upgrade easily at a later date or change to a completely different bar and stem set up depending on your needs.
Tyre Clearance
The Venturi has been optimised for 28c tyres which allows the rider to reap the benefits of wider tyres on a road bike. Not only does a wider tyre smooth airflow, it allows for lower tyre pressures, which improves overall comfort. Aswell as this, a 28c tyre improves grip and decreases rolling resistance.
Disc Brake Only
All models in the Venturi range feature disc brakes. Disc brakes improve airflow and improve the brkaing performance, making for an efficient ride. Meaning you can ride faster, and further. The Venturi range also includes a two-piece axle lever. This lever doubles up as an allen key which once tightened, and removed also adds an aero advantage.
Standout Model
Here we feature the Orro Venturi STC, which is equipped with Shimano’s 12-Speed 105 Di2 electronic groupset. Specified with a 50-34t compact chainset and 11-34t 12-speed cassette, riders will have enough range and versatility for climbing, descending and flat out speed.
Fulcrum R800 DB Wheels
The Venturi STC 105 Di2 is rolling on the Fulcrum R800 DB wheelset. These wheels are both clincher and tubeless ready allowing riders the choice of set up. With a 35mm rim depth, the R800 wheels offer fast rolling speeds and a comfortable ride.
