Building on Heritage
The all-new Specialized Allez builds on four decades of iconic history and innovation. Since 1988 the Allez has been a staple for entry-level road bikes. This new Allez is designed to offer riders better performance and confidence with a lighter frame and disc brakes. The Allez is available in two models, the Allez E5 and Allez E5 Sport, both great for riders looking to start their road cycling journey, or riders wanting a bike for long weekend rides and commuting to work.
Premium E5 Alloy Frame
Using premium butted and double butted E5 alloy, the Allez frame tips the scales at just 1375grams for a quick and nimble feel on the road. Paired with the new Allez full carbon fork, this reduces weight significantly, while helping smooth out the ride for additional comfort on longer rides and daily commuting.
Eloquently Equipped
The Allez E5 is equipped with Shimano's Claris 8 Speed drivetrain made with an 11-32T cassette and matched with the 50/34T Shimano Claris crankset.
Like E5, the Allez E5 Sport is also equipped with a Shimano groupset. Built up with Shimano's Tiagra 10 Speed drivetrain made with an 11-32T cassette and matched with the 50/34T Praxis Alba crankset (as pictured).
Disc Brakes
Both models in the Allez range, the E5 Sport and E5 are equipped with disc brakes. The incredible all-weather stopping power of disc brakes delivers ultimate confidence and control in every situation. Having peace of mind when commuting or getting stuck out tough weather conditions, disc brakes ensure consistent reliability.
Tyre Clearance
With tyre clearance up to 35mm (32mm with mudguards) riding rough roads and even light gravel in comfort and with confidence is no problem for the Allez. Riding with additional tyre width will increase comfort over any distance and maintain rolling speeds.
Rack and fender mounts ensure the bike is as capable of getting you to work or class as it is checking off your local century or weekend group rides, being able to carry your essentials and stay dry and clean.
