Giant Road Bike Sizes
Giant Contend, Defy, Propel, TCR & Fastroad sizes
Intended Use: To be ridden on tarmac and hard pack surfaces. These bikes have fast skinny tyres and race geometry to make the most out of road surfaces. They are not intended to be ridden on very rough surfaces.

Frequently Asked Questions
Giant road bikes feature a Compact Road design in S, M, L sizes. This means that Giant road bikes can’t be sized by measuring the seat tube length like other road bikes. The way to measure a Giant frame is to consult the relevant geometry chart for each specific model and compare the various measurements.
A small or S size Giant frame is equivalent to a 51cm road bike frame or a 16” mountain bike frame from another cycling brand.
A Giant Medium frame is equivalent to a 54cm road bike frame or an 18” mountain bike from another brand.
A Giant Medium/Large or M/L frame is equivalent to a 56cm road bike frame from another cycling manufacturer.
A Large Giant frame is equivalent to a 58cm road bike or a 19” mountain bike frame from another bike brand.
