Not worth the money

Third ride with these bibs on in cold weather, temperature just above freezing windchill -3, first ride legs stayed warm but tops of my legs was freezing, next time out put a pair of undershorts on which did help keep me warm. So I would suggest if it’s quite cold you do need a base layer of shorts, I don’t think the pad is up to the Castelli standard, okay for about 30 to 40 mile but after that you can feel it, I’ve got about 4 sets of Castelli bibs all great for 80 to 100 mile but these not up to that standard. I’m just glad i didn’t pay full price.

bit hit!

Just returned from my first ride out with these and they are well worth the additional spend. Superb quality and the most comfortable i have worn and i did not feel the cold at all! My next purchase will be Castelli based on these.
