With their slim 16mm concave body and great grip from the long pins, your feet are going nowhere on these pedals. The Chromoly axles are strong and long lasting. These pedals are perfect from trail riding, to endure and even full on downhill racing.

The DMR V12 pedals are available in a variety of colours to match your bike, another reason they make a great upgrade.

Key Features:

The new DMR V12 flat pedal offers 10% more surface area than the classic shape. This means better grip and also support for rougher conditions and bigger hits.

LOWER PROFILE

At just 16mm deep, the V12 is as slim as we could go whilst still retaining our legendary concave feel.

      Great pedals

I have 4 mtb's, 3 have DMR V12's on and the 4th has V8'. The V12's have a large platform good studs which take some hard use to wear down, bearings run well and pedal strikes on rocks only graze them. Will last you for years.

Ive always had DMR V12 pedals and cant fault the quality. My last set is 10 years old and still going strong with very little maintenance.

The gripping studs on these pedals are amazing, once you're on.. You're 100% on. Little expensive but definitely worth the money for the good grip :). I don't recommend slapping yourself in the shin bones with them though, that really hurts lol..

      Platform Pedals Guide

      Platform Pedals Guide

Also known as flat pedals, designed for mountain bike and BMX riding. Platform pedals offer great foot support.

      Pins

Pins grip the sole of your shoe to keep your foot in place while still giving you the freedom to take your foot off whenever you like. The pedal body is generally made of reinforced nylon or aluminium for greater durability.

      DMR Pedals with replaceable pins

These are particularly good for control when you're riding off-road on tricky terrain. The main advantage of flat pedals is you aren't attached to your bike, so can get your foot down with ease.

Pins are replaceable on the higher-end models. Some higher-end pedals have features like grease ports and magnesium or titanium construction to save weight.

      Shape & Size

They come in different shapes and sizes some with a more concave shape to suit rider preference.

      • Simple and effective
      • Easy to bail from the bike
      • Specific shoe not essential
      • Limited winter specific flat pedal shoes
      • Feet can be blown off on rough terrain
      • Thicker pedals can strike the ground on rough terrain
Two Crank Brothers pedals differ in shape and size

      Axles

Steel or Titanium can be used for the axle with the latter being much lighter. Mid and High-range pedals run on sealed cartridge bearings with many seals for long-lasting performance.

Axle material can make a big impact on pedal weight
