The Marin Alcatraz 2 is built for riders who want a dirt jump bike that feels solid, responsive and ready for bigger progression. At the heart of the bike is Marin’s Series 3 6061 aluminium frame, designed to balance strength and low weight for repeated jumps, hard landings and long sessions at the pump track or skatepark. The compact geometry, short chainstays and low standover height make it easy to manual, pump and move around the bike while maintaining a stable and predictable ride feel.

Up front, the Manitou Circus Expert fork delivers 100mm of travel to smooth out heavy landings and rough transitions. Designed specifically for dirt jump riding, the fork adds control and confidence without sacrificing the responsive handling needed for technical tricks and fast direction changes. Combined with the fast-rolling Vee Tire XCV 26” tyres, the Alcatraz 2 carries speed efficiently through berms, rollers and jump sections.
The single speed drivetrain keeps the setup simple, durable and low maintenance, with a forged alloy crankset built to handle regular impacts and hard riding. A Tektro HD-M535 4-piston hydraulic rear brake provides strong and consistent braking performance with plenty of modulation for setting speed into features and jumps. Premium finishing kit including the wide PNW Range handlebars and Marin CNC stem gives the bike a confident and modern cockpit feel with excellent control.
Practical details like internal cable routing, ISCG 05 tabs and a threaded bottom bracket help keep maintenance straightforward while maintaining a clean and tidy appearance. Jump Bike Size guide
Jump bikes are designed and intended for Dirt jumps, street and skatepark riding. Not for riding any distance.
They primarily use a 26” wheel with the frame only available in one size, to suit riders taller than 4’5” or 137cm.
Some manufacturers offer a long or short length bike. Riders over 5’10” or 178cm will prefer the longer option.
