The STATUS 2 DH finds the boundaries of mountain bikes and pushes past them. Is it a trail bike? Yes. Park bike? Absolutely. Urban sessions on concrete walls? Definitely. The STATUS 2 is built for versatility, allowing you to ride however and wherever you want.
The M5 Alloy frame is designed for durability and performance. With 170mm of travel and a Horst Link geometry adjustment flip chip, this bike is ready to tackle any terrain. The threaded bottom bracket and internal cable routing ensure a clean and reliable setup, while the SRAM UDH compatibility adds to its versatility.
Equipped with a RockShox BoXXer fork offering 180mm of travel and a RockShox Super Deluxe Select Coil rear shock, the Status 170 2 DH provides exceptional control and comfort on the most demanding descents. The suspension components are designed to absorb big hits and smooth out rough trails, allowing you to ride with confidence.
The SRAM GX DH 7-speed drivetrain ensures precise and smooth shifting, making it easy to find the right gear on technical trails. The SRAM Maven Bronze 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes deliver powerful and consistent stopping power, ensuring safety and control in all conditions.
The mixed-wheel setup features a 29" front wheel for improved roll-over capabilities and a 27.5" rear wheel for agile handling. Both wheels are tubeless-ready, allowing for lower tyre pressures and increased traction. The Butcher GRID GRAVITY tyres offer excellent grip and durability on various surfaces.
The Specialized 2-bolt head seat post and Body Geometry Henge DH saddle provide comfort and support during long rides. The bike's internal cable routing and external rear brake option keep the setup clean and easy to maintain.

Find your S Size
Determining your S-Size is easy. If you rode a Medium before, then S-3 will be your equivalent size. But if you want a more nimble ride, you should drop down to an S2. Want a bike that’s more stable at speed? Bump up to an S4. Following are examples of three riders, all 5’8” (1.73m), who chose three different sizes.
