The bike-specific maps on the navigation screen offer turn-by-turn navigation, so finding your way is easy. High-traffic roads are shown directly on the map to help you stay aware as you ride and make informed route choices.
Cycle With Confidence
The Edge® Explore 2 comes with preloaded road, off-road and indoor activity profiles. It’s ready to use right out of the box.
When paired with your smartphone, safety features such as incident detection let you ride with greater peace of mind. The Explore 2 is also compatible with Varia™ cycling awareness devices, including smart bike lights and rearview radar, to detect cars and alert drivers.
Ride Like a Local
Ride type-specific maps highlight popular roads and/or trails as well as searchable points of interest, so you can find the best routes whatever bike you’re riding. You can also connect to your favourite cycling apps like Strava, Komoot, Trailforks and more.
E-Bike Compatible
When connected to your compatible e-bike, the Garmin Edge® Explore 2 can receive navigation guidance and alerts based on your bike’s battery status, assist level and range.
