SRAM Force AXS Groupset
Force AXS Shifters/Levers
SRAM have made some changes to the hood design of the shifters to deliver riders increased finger wrap for more hand sizes meaning additional comfort when sprinting, navigating muddy ruts or flying down long gravel descents. These shifters include SRAMs eTap shift logic system for intuitive shifting, meaning crisp and precise shifting. Hydraulic braking power remains the same as previous versions, enabling more control both on and off-road.
Force AXS Brake System
Although they have a slightly different aesthetic to previous versions, the new Force Hydraulic calliper and disc rotors deliver the powerful braking performance SRAM users expect. However similar to other brake sets from SRAM, the new brake callipers and levers include the Bleeding Edge technology for easy and clean brake bleeds.
Force AXS Rear Derailleur
Whether it is road racing, cyclocross racing, gravel or even riding to the café, this derailleur truly does it all. The new single-length case works with any size cassette, from 10-28T to 10-36T in both x1 and x2 configurations. Working in tandem with the new shifters, the rear derailleur shifts fast and precise. If its navigating pot holes or trail roots, the orbit fluid damper keeps the chain in control for consistent shifting performance. The Force AXS derailleur is also available in a XPLR option which is designed for use with cassettes from 10-36T to 10-44T.
Force AXS Front Derailleur
Off-road and on the road, the Force AXS front derailleur delivers lightning-fast and reliable gear shifting when you are switching rings. Like the rear derailleur and shifters, the front derailleur uses SRAMS eTap logic system for intuitive shifting and YAW trimless cage technology for use with X-Range chainrings.
Force Crankset
The Force crankset is part of SRAMs X-Range gearing technology which enables the rider to have more range, and a smaller gear progression so you are always in the correct gear and not having to shift as frequently. The Force crankset includes carbon fiber crank arms which are lightweight but stiff, so no power transfer is lost. The chain ring sizes available are 50/37T, 48/35T and 46/33T in the double, and the Force1 crankset is a x1 set delivering riders a single chain ring for off-road riding or gravel.
Force AXS Power Meter Upgrade
The Force AXS Power Meter kit adds Quarq technology to the one-piece chainring design. The power meter is fully integrated into the chainring itself for the lightest and most accurate power package available. This direct mount chainring and power meter, is available in the same combos as the standard chainrings, to offer riders the power data they require.
eTap Wireless Battery
Like other wireless groupsets in SRAMs range, Force AXS is powered by the eTap batteries. The same battery is interchangeable between both the front and rear derailleur and can easily be removed by one simple clip, for easy charging.
