The SRAM Red AXS E1 Groupset has been designed to offer riders effortless and reliable performance. Packed with performance features such as accurate power measurement, new shift points and more brake adjustability, Red AXS provides every rider expanded gear choices and smooth shifting for the best ride possible.
Improved Shifter design
The SRAM Red hood and lever design has been tweaked to suit all hand sizes and offer access to change gear and brake easier. Independent reach and contact point adjustment allows for a personalized setup, with no risk of pinching your fingers or bottoming out on the handlebar no matter your settings. Better finger wrap on the hood means less fatigue on long rides, and Bonus Buttons lets you shift or control ANT+ devices with your thumbs.
Bleeding Edge Technology
The brake system and calipers have a different aesthetic to previous versions, this is due to 83g being removed. However this has not effected the braking performance, and the calliper and disc rotors deliver the powerful braking performance SRAM users expect. However similar to other brake sets from SRAM, the new brake callipers and levers include the Bleeding Edge technology for easy and clean brake bleeds.
Efficient Wireless Shifting
The rear derailleur is the heart of the Red AXS groupset. Updated to a lighter, more efficient, and more capable rear derailleur offers riders more reliable shifting than before. Covering cassette ranges from 10-28T up to 10-36T, this wireless derailleur has larger pulleys to decrease chain articulation and increase efficiency, and an Orbit fluid damper keeps everything in place over the rough stuff so you can keep the power down. One derailleur ready for 1x or 2x, on road or off.
Yaw Technology
The Red AXS front derailleur doesn’t just deliver fast and reliable front shifts, but silent shifting aswell. The front derailleur uses Yaw technology with electronic trim to ensure the fastest possible shift while eliminating chain rub in all combinations. Like previous versions, this derailleur also features auto trim functionality offering riders slick chain alignment.
Efficient Pedalling
The SRAM Red AXS chainset has an optimized layup which drops 29 g from the hollow carbon arms, and stays on top of current fit trends. The Red AXS chainset options now includes SRAM’s first carbon 160 mm crankarm length option. And the SRAM X-Range gearing minimises cadence changes during front shifts, maximizing your ability to put power down through the pedals.
Hold the Power
The Red 1 AXS power meter is the stiffest, and most accurate integrated power meter on a chainset yet. And it just got lighter with a new carbon crankarm construction. The power meter is accurate to +/-1.5% and isn’t affected by temperature changes. The direct mount X-SYNC chainring improves the chainset aerodynamics and SRAM are now offering more crank arm lengths than ever before to ensure this crank works for everyone.
