E-Bike Updates Guide

To keep your e-bike up to date and performing at its best, it’s important to do regular firmware updates. Some suppliers allow you to do this via their app, and some require specialist software to update, which can be done at an authorised dealer. Firmware updates can help improve battery life, add features and fix bugs. Our Tredz store are authorised dealers for each e-bike manufacture we supply.

How to update your e-bikes firmware:

Shimano

With the Shimano smartphone app, you can check what firmware version you are running as well as run updates, along with customising the electronic shifting and e-bike power assist modes. This video shows you how to update your firmware.

Bosch

With most Bosch systems, specialised software is required to update the bike. This can be done by your local authorised dealer.

If your bike has the Bosch Smart System you can run updates with the e-bike Flow app, this video will guide you through this process.
